Each activity is designed to be inclusive and adaptable, ensuring that all young people, regardless of their experience, can participate meaningfully and confidently.

By completing this playlist, you’ll gain the tools to strengthen youth organisations, promote European opportunities, and drive positive change in your community. You’ll also develop valuable skills in networking, advocacy, collaboration, and leadership—all essential for contributing to the European Youth Goal #11: Youth Organisations and European Programmes.

How to get started:

  1. Choose the activity that interests you most and participate in events available in your local area or online.
  2. Apply for each badge by completing the required tasks and submitting your evidence through the platform.
  3. Once you’ve completed all the activities and earned your badges, you’ll automatically receive the playlist badge, recognising your overall achievement and contribution to European Youth Goal #11: Youth Organisations and European Programmes.

This activity helps you take an active role in shaping youth policies and participating in decision-making processes.

By learning how policies are created, practising advocacy skills, and engaging with policymakers, you’ll gain the confidence and tools to ensure young people’s voices are heard.


First, get inspired!

Learn from youth advocates: Watch videos of young leaders sharing their experiences in influencing policies and participating in decision-making bodies like youth councils and the EU Youth Dialogue.
Understand the policy process: Explore a guide that explains how youth policies are developed and the role young people can play in shaping them.
Explore success stories: Read inspiring accounts of youth-led campaigns that successfully influenced local, national, or European policies.

Now, take action:
By completing the following activities, you’ll engage in shaping youth policies, develop advocacy skills, and participate in decision-making processes that amplify the voices of young people and promote European programmes.
  • Join a workshop: Participate in a session where you can learn how youth policies are made, who the key stakeholders are, and how to effectively engage in decision-making processes.
  • Draft a policy proposal: Work with peers to identify an issue affecting young people and develop a set of actionable recommendations for policymakers.
  • Present your ideas: Organise or join a youth hearing or town hall meeting where you present your policy proposal to local authorities, youth councils, or European programme representatives.
