This activity will give you the chance to step into the shoes of an EU representative and experience the negotiation process firsthand.﻿
You’ll represent a country or an EU institution and negotiate with others on youth-related issues, just like in real EU decision-making. By participating in these simulations, you’ll not only gain a better understanding of how the EU works, but you’ll also develop key skills like negotiation, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Now, take action:You’ll have the opportunity to engage in realistic decision-making processes that affect youth, by participating in EU simulations and workshops through the following activities:
Find organisations that offer EU Simulations and Workshops in your city or country and explore opportunities to participate in EU simulations by learning how you can join these workshops.
Engage in the EU simulation: Take part in a mock EU negotiation where you’ll represent a country or institution and work with others to reach a consensus on youth issues. Collaborate, debate, and negotiate with peers to understand how decisions are made at the EU level.
Experience virtual EU decision-making through online platforms, games, virtual tours and Virtual Reality (VR). These tools allow you to practise decision-making in a digital environment and gain insights into how complex negotiations unfold.

Engage in an EU simulation:
Task: Participate in an EU simulation where you represent a country or an EU institution, engaging in negotiations on youth-related topics such as education, employment, or youth participation.
Evidence: Provide evidence of your participation, such as a photo, video, or summary of your role in the simulation, including the outcomes of your negotiation.

Task no.3

Experience EU decision-making through online platforms, games, or Virtual Reality:
Task: Participate in at least one digital platform, game, or virtual reality experience that simulates EU decision-making processes.
Evidence: Submit a screenshot and your impressions on the experience, describing how it helped you understand the EU decision-making process.
