How to get started:

  1. Choose the activity that interests you most and participate in events available in your local area or online.
  2. Apply for each badge by completing the required tasks and submitting your evidence through the platform.
  3. Once you’ve completed all the activities and earned your badges, you’ll automatically receive the playlist badge, recognising your overall achievement and contribution to European Youth Goal #11: Youth Organisations and European Programmes.

This activity helps you discover how to access funding and resources to make your youth projects a reality.

By learning about available opportunities, practising writing grant applications, and meeting with funders, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to turn your ideas into impactful projects. This is your chance to unlock support for the causes and initiatives you care about.


First, get inspired!

Hear success stories: Watch videos of young people who used funding to create amazing projects in their communities. Learn how they found support, overcame challenges, and made a difference.
Learn from funders: Listen to podcasts or read blogs from funding organisations offering simple advice on what makes a strong application and how to approach funders.
Explore real examples: Read stories of youth groups that secured funding to start events, campaigns, or community projects, and see what’s possible for your own ideas.

By completing the following activities, you’ll practice finding funding, writing applications, and connecting with organisations that can support your projects.
  • Find opportunities in an info session: Take part in an easy-to-follow session where you’ll learn about local and European funding opportunities for youth projects. Discover how to match your ideas to the right funding.
  • Practice grant writing: Work with a group to create a sample funding application. Learn how to describe your project, set goals, and plan a budget. Get helpful feedback to improve your application.
  • Meet funders in a networking session: Join a relaxed event where you can talk to people from funding organisations. Share your ideas, ask questions, and learn how to build connections with funders.
