Lisätiedot
Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) offers non-formal education experiences to its students. It acknowledges their activities and competence development using digital Open Badges.
You will meet with KTU Career centre staff members who run badging programmes at the university in 7 activity areas: volunteering; additional and volunteer internship; membership of KTU organisation; further education (learning) at KTU; research activities; transfer of knowledge and experience; achievements at the Olympiads and competitions and contests. Read more about KTU digital badging programmes.
KTU sees such benefits of earning badges:
- Advantage while searching for internship and job. Demonstrate your achievements and active participation in the university’s life to your potential employer.
- Competitions and scholarships at the University. A quick and easy way to collect the proof of your activities at the university in one place.
- A competence portfolio. Seek the confirmation of your competences acquired via non-formal learning.
Every student who gets engaged in extra-curricular activities and earns badges receives a personal file of competences with their University diploma.
This activity is a part of a Cities of Learning study visit organised from 16 to 21 May 2022 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The study visit is realised within the Erasmus+ co-funded strategic partnership "Online 21st century skills education".
